Berry Hill is also continuing to improve! We have at last had some support from the EA in improving the inlet flow to this water, however, there is still more to do to secure this flow properly for the longer term. The EA are continuing to work with us on resolving these issues.

 

Again another phase of restocking has been completed in December and 10 x new carp were introduced.   5 were in the 12Lb range and 5 in the 7-8Lb range. There were a few reports of 30 Lb+ fish being caught last year so again this water will hopefully produce well in 2023.

 

Some reed clearance work is planned for the working parties this year which will improve the space around the islands.

 

The Otter Fence seems to be holding up well but it is important that any damage seen by anglers is reported to the bailiffs or the club as soon as possible.
